This activity consists of presenting HEMLE awards. As the Minister of Youth and Civic Education, MOUNOUNA FOUTSOU likes to say, young Cameroonians who show fighting spirit excel in various fields.
These awards are given after selections throughout the national territory, and in diplomatic missions, in the areas of expression of young people (economy, politics, development, culture, education and training, entrepreneurship, etc).
The aim is to award national prizes called national HEMLΓ to all those who have shown bravery in their respective fields in 2022, not only to encourage them but also to stimulate other young people and bring them to a spirit of commitment and initiative, to withstand the current situation and drive real development in our country.

These prizes are awarded to young people who have distinguished themselves during the year 2022 by the implementation of the National Programme of Civic Education through Civic and Entrepreneurial Moral Rearmament. PRONEC-REAMORCE is a pedagogical tool for civic, moral and entrepreneurial education that is adapted to and meets the current needs of all segments of the population. It proposes appropriate responses to current uncivil acts observed in school and out-of-school structures, in order to achieve the exemplary Republic so desired by the Head of State HE Mr. Paul BIYA.
Among the tools for the implementation of this strategic document, the Youth Afternoon, abbreviated as “Youth Afternoon”, is a mobilisation platform that brings together young people, experts in the youth sector and representatives of competent partner structures in a framework of debate, reflection and other permanent and constructive activities. The activities carried out are oriented towards civic education, peace building, social cohesion and living together, volunteering, associative life and youth participation, as well as the socio-economic integration of young people.
