How to fight hate speech? 🤷🏽♂️ #defyhatnow Cameroon is an outreach initiative that aims to build community capacity, provide evidence-based solutions to mitigate online hate speech and mobilize public action against all forms of online hate speech and incitement to violence.

👉🏾Youth Connekt Hangout: an interactive virtual platform where young people
are networked.
👉🏾Youth Connekt Convention: a physical forum, a concertation framework for
young entrepreneurs, decision-makers, financial backers and development partners.

are trained in entrepreneurship, management, marketing, communication and fundraising.
👉🏾Youth Connekt Community Service: a framework for out-of-school young people
and school-going children get involved in community volunteering activities.
👉🏾Youth Connekt Champion: an annual awards ceremony for the best
young laureates, leaders who have distinguished themselves through their innovations or
shares in the company.
👉🏾Youth Connekt Jobs: boosting training and career guidance for
young people.
We are now in the "Quartier des savoirs faire encestraux et patrimoniaux".
The aim here is to promote Cameroonian culture as a whole through a successive presentation of Cameroon's cultural areas, but also to showcase the production potential of these different cultural areas in order to promote import substitution, the central message of the theme chosen for this 58th edition of the Fête de la Jeunesse au Cameroun.

📸 Let's start with the PRONEC-REAMORCE district The Programme National d'Education Civique par le Réarmement Moral Civique et Entrepreneurial (PRONEC-REAMORCE) plays an important role in the activities of this youth week. The aim of the youth village is to mobilize citizen action to counter hate speech and violent extremism, both online and offline.

Youth Connekt Cameroon is aligned with Cameroon's global vision of emergence by 2035 and the New National Development Strategy postDSCE (2020 - 2030). It is aligned with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the African Union's Vision 2063 in relation to realizing the full potential of youth.
