🎙️ NONO Alain farming project: Developing local produce for a sustainable economy

In a context where food security and the development of local resources are major challenges, the NONO Alain agricultural project is proposing an innovative approach to promote the production and processing of manioc, okra and potatoes into their by-products. The project aims to contribute to local economic growth, improve the quality of life of rural populations and preserve natural resources.

Making the most of local resources

The NONO Alain project focuses on adding value to local products such as manioc, okra and potatoes, which are traditional crops in the region. By transforming these products into their derivatives, we can create a local value chain that benefits farmers, processors and consumers.

Contributing to food security

The NONO Alain project contributes to food security by increasing the availability of local food products. By transforming raw products into by-products, we can extend shelf life and improve product quality, helping to meet the food needs of local populations.

Positive economic impact

The NONO Alain project has a positive economic impact on the local community. By creating a local value chain, we can generate income for farmers, processors and traders. This contributes to local economic growth and to improving the quality of life of rural populations.

Preserving natural resources

The NONO Alain project preserves natural resources by promoting sustainable agricultural practices. By using environmentally-friendly growing and processing methods, we can reduce the environmental impact of our activity and preserve natural resources for future generations.

The NONO Alain agricultural project is an innovative initiative that aims to add value to local produce, contribute to food security, have a positive economic impact and preserve natural resources. We are convinced that this project can have a lasting and positive impact on the local community and we are determined to implement it successfully.

🎙️ Project to create a modern pig farm in Kumba

The project to create a modern pig farm in Kumba in a joint venture with Gilbert Ndepe of France aims to establish a sustainable and profitable agricultural business that will contribute to food security and economic growth in the region. The farm will be equipped with 210 sows and modern facilities for rearing, slaughtering and processing pigs. A cold store will also be built to ensure the preservation and distribution of pork products. The project will create jobs and training opportunities for young people and women in the region.

The training school to be set up under this project will offer vocational training programmes in pig farming, business management and marketing. Trainees will learn best practices in pig breeding, processing and marketing. The project will thus help to build the capacity of local players and promote sustainable development in the region. 🎙️ Some advice from the jury expert, Samuel ERVE

According to jury expert Samuel ERVE, for the project to create a modern pig farm in Kumba to be a success, several key factors need to be taken into account. Firstly, it is crucial to carry out in-depth market research to understand the needs and preferences of local consumers. Secondly, it is important to select pig breeds that are adapted to the local climate and conditions, and to implement sustainable and environmentally-friendly farming practices. In addition, it is advisable to develop a training and awareness plan for farmers and farm employees, to ensure efficient management and quality production. Last but not least, a solid financing plan is essential.
