Coming from diverse backgrounds for this strategic moment of adopting resolutions passed unanimously during the various panels held from 3 to 9 February 2026 at the National Museum in Yaoundé.
The sectoral representatives and young people engaged in a genuine exchange about their aspirations, with a view to placing greater emphasis on their full development, as desired by the Head of State, His Excellency Mr P.

A request from Fadimatou Iyawa Ousmanou, Chairperson of the National Executive Committee of the National Youth Council (CNJC).
In her speech, she did not fail to express her gratitude to the members of the government present. She specifically asked them to convey the young people's thanks to the President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul Biya, "the favourite father of young Cameroonians".

After the customary pleasantries, the President of the CNJC stated that "this is a real opportunity to recognise the special place that the President of the Republic accords to Cameroonian youth. He has asked MINCOM to convey the deep gratitude of the youth."
She went on to emphasise that the National Youth Forum held from 14 to 16 January was a concrete example of sectoral exchanges between young people and members of the Government. Each piece of information provided by members of the Government was a specific response to the concerns of young people.
She reassures that Cameroon's youth as a whole will do everything in their power to actively contribute to Cameroon's economic and socio-political growth.

The seventh edition of exchanges between young people and members of the Government, organised to mark the 60th anniversary of Youth Day, was a real opportunity to improve young people's knowledge of the incentives implemented, and sometimes envisaged, by the Government with the aim of promoting the satisfactory social and economic integration of young people.

He began by thanking the Prime Minister, Head of Government, for the honour of presiding over this ceremony.
The 60th edition of Youth Day, celebrated under the theme "Youth at the heart of high hopes for a united, stable and prosperous Cameroon", marks the Head of State's strong commitment to implementing a special plan to promote youth employment.

The £50 billion fund allocated to promoting youth development, along with many other initiatives implemented by the government to facilitate the socio-economic integration of young people, is proof of the priority given to youth initiatives.

The Minister of Youth and Civic Education, Mounouna Foutsou, began by thanking each member of the Government for their availability, all of whom made themselves available to ensure the success of these sectoral exchanges. Special thanks were given to the Minister of Communication, Government Spokesperson, who is also the personal representative of the Prime Minister, Head of Government.
